Creamy Tuna Garlic Penne Pasta

Mehn, I've cooked something delicious again! And I really feel good and  happy! I mean, how would I not be after cooking a superb dish without looking at the recipe? Haha! You've got to congratulate me. After all, I'm a kitchen noob, ya know!

Creamy Tuna Garlic Penne Pasta
The sauce is oh-so-creamy and yummy!

And the capers just added a twist! Every bite gives a taste of saltiness in the mouth, sharp but not overpowering.

tuna pasta
I like to eat this tuna pasta with any kind of bread... like the choco-banana-cashew bread  just freshly baked!

...or pair my creamy tuna garlic Penne pasta with some oatmeal cookies. And oh, we can add some steamed/boiled brocolli too!

Top with Parmesan cheese and sprinkle with more dried basil, and the taste is just... oh-la-la!

Ingredients:

200g Penne pasta
4 tbsp butter
1 can tuna flakes in oil
1/2 cup all purpose cream
2 tbsp capers in vinegar, drained
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 small-sized onion, minced
1 egg
1 tsp sugar (adjust according to your preference)
1 tsp ground nutmeg
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
salt and ground black pepper, to taste
Parmesan cheese

Cooking Procedure:

1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Set aside.
2. In a large wok over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the onion and garlic.
3. Add the tuna, capers, cream, ground nutmeg, sugar, oregano, and basil; mix well.
4. Add the pasta to the sauce and mix well. Season with salt and black pepper.
5. Turn off the heat. Add the egg and mix again. The remaining heat is enough for the egg.
6. Transfer to serving plate(s). Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve immediately and enjoy!
