If you want to savor a special take on the Hollywood's lifestyle through dining, Disney's Hollywood Hotel has several dining options: Chef Mickey, Studio Lounge, Sunset Terrace and Hollywood & Dine. But you've got to check the Hongkong Disneyland's website for the availability of Sunset Terrace since it's temporarily closed.
As for our dining experience inside the Hollywood Hotel, Bless' opted to celebrate her birthday inside Chef Mickey restaurant. Chef Mickey offers breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet. Since we arrived at the hotel late in the afternoon, the dinner buffet is the best option to experience the sumptuous international cuisines.
Chef Mickey is Art Deco-styled and you can see in the restaurant's interior a lot of Mickey decorations and Disney characters sketches on the wall.
Chef Mickey prepares a special buffet for kids and it contains ice cream, assorted cookies, biscuits, waffles, cakes in different Disney characters shapes! How cute!

The hotel guests can choose from a wide variety of Asian specialties that include different kinds of noodles, dim sums, sushi, soups and spicy curries.
Also being served are western favorites that include salads, hamburgers and fresh pizza.
I'm sorry for all these dinner buffer plates full of yummy goodies! Hehe...
What's not in the picture is the European style bakery that offers the guests' taste buds with freshly baked breads and pastries. It's my regret that I wasn't able to capture a panoramic view of the whole feast!
Chef Mickey also offers Character Dining experience. You will meet the biggest superstar Chef Mickey Mouse so don't forget your cameras to capture the special moment. Kids may also receive a complimentary Chef Hat autographed by Chef Mickey Mouse himself! A truly unforgettable dining experience that the kids, young at heart, the whole family and friends will surely enjoy.
But, the Character Dining experience is not everyday. Maybe, there are days that Mickey needs to rest too! Hehe... Unfortunately, the night when we were there, Chef Mickey Mouse was not present. Sayang! So, if you want to enjoy more your dining experience, don't forget to check for Mickey's appearance schedule!
Regardless that Mickey Mouse was not around, the buffet dinner treat was still a blast! There was a wide selection of food, the presentation was enticing, the taste was superb. I was able to try a lot of new dishes especially the Indian gastronomy. My ever favorite is the seafood dishes. Next year ulit! lol
