Picadillo ala Kurizutin. I made this dish extra special for Sam by adding raisins and fish sausage.
Scrambled eggs. Made from left-over fried chicken, added with scallops and tomatoes.
Shrimps in Lemon-Butter Sauce. Actually, there's no lemon in the fridge! So I've used whatever is available - this citrus fruit in Japan that looks like a lime or calamandarin.
Lumpiang Shanghai and Ampalaya with Egg. Lumpiang Shanghai is one of Sam's favorite dishes! He can eat a lot of rolls in one seating! Our friends here brought Japanese bittermelon so I just sauteed it with ground pork and egg.
Stir-fry tofu with Brocolli. And carrots! One of the easiest to do! Learned from Goldy. Have to introduce her soon! You just need Oyster Sauce for the sauce. (Okay, oyster sauce for the sauce. Hehe...)
Sauteed Squash with Noodles. The squash here is really very hard to peel and slice! I've used soba noodles.
Fried Fish and Sauteed Vegetables. Okay, I have no idea what Japanese fish is this. Not even my husband. But sure thing, it doesn't have bones, not smelly and quite yummy. The texture of the meat is closed to Philippine Tulingan. For the sauteed vegetables, it was made from a pack of store-bought mixed vegetables (carrots, mushroom and cabbage). I added some bell pepper.
Assorted store-bought cooked Japanese dish. When I want to taste different Japanese dishes. Syempre, nasa Japan na rin lang. Tikim-tikim 'pag may time!
Haven't posted everything I've cooked because I wasn't able to capture the photos of the others. Adobo, fried chicken, other sauteed veggies, hams, sausages, eggs! Haha! I'll do better next time! *Wink*
I hope you got an idea what to cook for your next meal. If you want to share your family meals too, or some recipes, please don't hesitate to leave a comment below. I would gladly appreciate it. Sometimes, it's hard to think on what to cook, you know! The easiest dishes, I mean! Hehe...
