Lorenzo Duran and His Magnificent Leaf Art

Lorenzo Duran, a Spanish self-taught artist, found his inspiration of “cutting sheets” through a caterpillar eating a leaf.

He uses the various techniques to cut paper from Chinese, Japenese, German and Swiss.

His leaf cutting process consists of raking leaves, washing, drying, pressing and cutting them.

According to him, “...the last step is the most delicate of all, because that is when the blade is fragile and can come all the way down, so that the work of days lost in a few minutes.”

Wow! Wow! WOW!!! I know you can produce a wonderful work of art using leaves by tracing through the veins and apply color, or by framing different types and colorful ones and hanging on the wall. But, I have never ever imagined that you can make such a magnificent, exceptional work of art like Mr. Duran did. Truly breathtaking masterpieces... Again, this is truly GENIUS!

I hope there are some ways to preserve those leaves.

Now, tell me, which one is your favorite? I love the DEER!
