Lately, this blog is becoming / evolving into a photoblog! (And I’m not sure if I will really follow that direction ‘cause I’m a terrible newbie photographer. I’m not even worthy to be called a noob photographer. I’m just a girl who happens to have two cameras and it would be a total waste of resources if I will not make use of these wonderful gadgets. Hehe…) Thanks to my Hongkong Getaway series, which is not yet finished by the way. And now, the chain of my La Laguna Festival posts! Yesterday, I was lucky to find time to visit the festival with Sam and Yaya on its first day, and managed to snap some mediocre photos. This afternoon, I was dragged by my sister-in-law so I was able to step on to the festival ground again. But, I wasn’t able to take some pictures because 1) Yaya was not with us and I have to attend to my soo likot 2-yr old toddler 2) I didn’t bring my cameras 3) we went home immediately due to sun’s scorching heat (they have a 2-month old baby!) Okay, I’ll stop the chat now. To give you a glimpse of the festival, here are some of the pictures I've taken during the first day:
- garden and landscapes
- different booth setups from the various towns and cities of Laguna for the Trade Fair Booth competition
- several Laguna specialty products being sold at the booths
- colorful props and costumes
- event(s) etc...
