Strolling around Yokaichi with Hubby

Yee haw! I'll be dumping a lot of old, Japan-related photos! Reminds me of the good ol' pre-pregnancy body days. Joke! Haha! Not that I'm saying I was "sexy" back then, or had a good body, or anything. It's just fun to reminisce. I bet you'll agree. That's why uso ang #ThrowbackThursday and #FlashbackFriday. And because it's Tuesday, let's call tag this as #BlastFromThePast. LOL!

It's great to look back at the happy experiences or beautiful places you've been to. It doesn't just remind you of how you looked before, but how enjoyable your life had been. You've experienced different culture and the other two seasons which our beloved country lack, heard new language(s), feasted your eyes with breathtaking sceneries, tasted different food, savored new dishes, met some lovely people. Your horizon has broadened and you've got a whole lot new perspective. Okay, okay. I'm talking about my own. Somehow, my brain is failing me. Been constantly forgetting the good memories. So, I need this! Something that will remind me that life is indeed beautiful!

Anyway, Yokaichi is a city near that is also located in Shiga Prefecture. Lapit lang sa 'min. Since, I was under house arrest for 5 to 6 days during my stay in Japan before (mostly but not always), I should go out once a week to keep my sanity. 

Yokaichi is famous for the Giant Kite Festival held on the fourth Sunday every May.
